Trails Inspire, LLC provides consulting services dedicated to promoting the outdoors as a place of personal health, economic development and tourism through public speaking, freelance writing, photography and trail design and development. Trails Inspire is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion for outdoor spaces.
Founder Sirena Rana Dufault is a desert hiking and Arizona Trail expert and an advocate for the outdoors. She loves to share the wild and remote places she explores while hiking, backpacking, rafting and canyoneering through her photography, speaking engagements and writing. She is currently working on section hiking the length of Grand Canyon.
For the past decade, Sirena has helped to build, maintain and promote the Arizona National Scenic Trail and developed the successful Gateway Community Program, connecting trail users and services and promoting economic development in the 33 towns near the trail. Trails Inspire has partnered with organizations such as the Arizona Office of Tourism, REI, Partnership for the National Trails, Continental Divide Trail Coalition and the Florida Trail Association. Current projects include working on a Community Trails project for the Town of Tusayan, the Gateway Community for the Grand Canyon and an upcoming book with Wilderness Press, Day Hikes on the Arizona National Scenic Trail, which will be published in Spring 2020.
Her photos have been featured in Backpacker Magazine: Long Trails and Your Official Guide to the Arizona National Scenic Trail as well as numerous publications, online articles and the Arizona Highways blog. Sirena has appeared on Arizona Public Media, The Arizona Republic, Arizona Daily Sun, Arizona Daily Star, Arizona Highways blog, Good Morning Arizona, Tucson News Now and The Trail Show, Cascade Hiker and She Explores podcasts.
