Madeline is a writer, producer and communications director working in global development with a focus on women.  She has covered a wide array of topics ranging from human-trafficking, to the impact of misogyny on HIV rates in Southern Africa, to how Bengali factory leaders are using feminism to bolster worker performance.

She has held roles as an associate producer for MSNBC and VICE Media, and as a freelance journalist has written for Al Jazeera, Teen Vogue, France 24, Broadly, UN Dispatch, Motherboard, and Tonic. Out of her commitment to empower women everywhere, she currently leads strategic communications efforts for  WomenStrong International, a global organization catalyzing the eradication of extreme urban poverty through women and girls.
